Police to probe viral video of naked woman assaulted
A screen capture of the video that is making its way in cyberspace. The Kelantan police have urged those involved to lodge a police report immediately.
A video of a naked woman being assaulted by another woman armed with a glass bottle is making its round in cyberspace, and the police have vowed to investigate.
The Kelantan police have taken up this task as the voices heard in the video spoke with a Kelantan accent and the incident is presumed to have taken place somewhere in the state.
Kelantan police chief Datuk Dr Ab Rahman Ismail, however, said no police report have been made so far on the incident.
He urged those involved in the video, including the victim, to lodge a police report immediately.
The 2.07-minute video showed a naked young woman, believed to be in her 20s, being beaten by another woman around the same age.
Based on the sketchy audio, it is believed that the naked woman had slept with the assailant's husband, who was also pictured in the video. The aggressor, clothed in a t-shirt and shorts, did not spare the beating on her husband.
It is presumed that jealousy could be the cause of the attack.
