Deputy Inspector General of Police Datuk Seri Noor Rashid Ibrahim said police will question Red Shirt rally organiser Datuk Jamal Md Yunos for threatening another rally or a riot at Petaling Street.
Noor Rashid said investigation papers have been opened and added that Jamal will be called in for questioning soon, The Malay Mail Online reported.
He said Jamal can be detained under Section 143 of the Penal Code and Section 105 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
The Red Shirt rally which had gathered on Sept 16 had among others demanded that the Domestic, Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry act against the alleged sale of counterfeit goods in Petaling Street.
They also wanted the traders there to share a portion of their income with other races and stop a monopoly in the area.

He expected about 5,000 people to gather at the Saturday rally, which he said could turn into a riot.
