Police raid Bersih office on eve of Bersih 5
According to Bersih 2.0 secretariat Mandeep Singh Karpal, the raid was done under Section 124C of the Penal Code.
Police has raided the Bersih headquarters in Petaling Jaya one day before the planned Bersih 5 rally.
This is according to Bersih 2.0 Secretrariat Mandeep Singh Karpal who posted a short statement on his Twitter page.
“Bukit Aman in our office; want to confiscate our things.
"It’s a raid under (Section) 124C (of the Penal Code)," he said.
As at 4pm, Astro AWANI’s effort to contact Mandeep to gather more information on the raid was not successful.
