Police receive 134 reports, open 3 more investigation papers against Tommy Thomas - Bukit Aman

KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) has opened three more investigation papers against former Attorney-General, Tan Sri Tommy Thomas, regarding the publication of a book entitled 'My Story: Justice in the Wilderness'.
Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) director Datuk Huzir Mohamed said among the police reports received claimed that the book contained untrue, insulting and defamatory facts.
"Further investigation papers were opened in accordance with Section 500 of the Penal Code, Section 203A of the Penal Code and Section 8 of the Official Secrets Act 1972," he said as reported by Berita Harian.
He explained that so far, the police have received 134 police reports from all over the country against the former Attorney-General.
Earlier, Head of the Selangor Criminal Investigation Department, Datuk Fadzil Ahmat, informed that the police had opened an investigation paper against Tommy after receiving a report from the former senior officer of the Attorney General's Chambers, Datuk Mohamad Hanafiah Zakaria.
Several police reports were also lodged by political party leaders and former Attorney-General Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali last Thursday.
