Red Shirts leader Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos was today called to the Pandan Indah Police station to have his statement recorded regarding the incident in a shopping mall where he was punched and left with a bloodied nose.
It is understood that the statement was also regarding his intention to seek revenge on the Nov 13 incident.
“I am responding to the widespread news in social media today, that the police punched me.
“When the incident took place, I didn’t say the police hit me, but I had wanted to tell the police I had been hit,” Jamal said in a press conference in front of Pandan Indah police station.
Yesterday, a scuffle broke out between the Red Shirts supporters and a group of Bersih supporters at the Ampang Point shopping mall.
Jamal said he was convinced that the individual who punched him was from the yellow shirt.
Meanwhile, Jamal had confirmed that the Red shirts will rally against the Bersih 5 on November 19 if the yellow shirts continue with their plan.
