Police release 10 arrested over Bersih, Red Shirts rallies

The police today released 10 people who were arrested last Friday over the Bersih 5 and Red Shirts illegal rallies held yesterday.
They are Bersih committee member Mandeep Singh Karpall Singh, Ronnie Liu Tian Khiew and Wong Chee Wai alias Jimmy Wong of the DAP, Parti Sosialis Malaysia committee member S. Arutchelvam.
Student activists Muhamad Luqman Nul Haqim Zul Razali, Anis Syafiqah Md Yusof, Lee Khai Meng and Safwan Anang alias Talib and Red Shirts activists Hairol Nizam Md Nor and Razali Zakaria.
Kuala Lumpur CID chief SAC Rusdi Mohd Isa, when contacted, confirmed their release but declined to elaborate.
"All those arrested on Nov 18 have been released except Bersih chairman Maria Chin Abdullah," he said.

Those still being detained are PKR vice-president and Batu MP Tian Chua, Bersih leader Hishammuddin Rais, Seremban MP Anthony Loke Siew Fook of DAP, Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin of PKR, activist Fahmi Reza, Pasir Pinji state assemblyman Howard Lee Chuan How of DAP.
