Police remand businessman who assaulted Bangladeshi car-wash worker

A businessman who slapped a Bangladeshi car-wash employee three times in Subang Perdana on Saturday was remanded two days from today.
Sungai Buloh District Police chief Supt Mohd Rozi Jidin said the suspect was detained at 10pm last night in the Kampung Baru Subang area, near here.
He said the man, in his 30s, was detained to help in investigation under Section 325 of the Penal Code for deliberately causing hurt.
"The man was detained following a report which was lodged by the employer of the worker at the Brickfields Police Station yesterday afternoon," he said when contacted by Bernama here, today.
He said the police were still investigating the cause of the incident and were waiting for the victim's medical report for further action.
A close circuit television recording of the incident at 12.45 pm on Saturday which went viral on social site showed a Bangladeshi man being slapped on the face.
