Police are scrutinising the Malaysian Examination Board's standard operating procedure (SOP) in their investigations into the 'leaks' in this year's primary six examination (UPSR).
The leaks concerned the English subject, Papers 014/1 and 014/2 and Science, Papers 018, 028 and 038.
Kuala Lumpur CID chief, SAC Gan Kong Meng said today that police had been taking statements from relevant individuals.
He said police called three teachers yesterday and to date, 10 individuals had given their statements including six of the board's officers and a journalist.
The board has set Sept 30 as the new date for the two examinations, which were earlier suspended following the exposure.
Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin who is also Education minister, said yesterday that the board's director Dr Na'imah Ishak and its operations deputy director, Dr Wan Ilias Wan Salleh would be temporarily relieved of their duties pending the outcome of the investigation.
