A police lance corporal was found dead with a gunshot wound in the head at the Sungai Bonus People's Housing Project recreation park in Setapak here today.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Amar Singh Ishar Singh said the body of the policeman, who was attached at the Bukit Aman (federal police) headquarters, was found about 11.30am along with a note.
He said the forensic team also found an empty water bottle, a .38 pistol, a bullet shell and a live bullet at the scene.
"From the note that was found, the victim is believed to have family problems," he said in a statement.
