Politicians and celebrities turn to social media to wish Happy Mother's Day

Falling on May 11 this year, Mother's Day is a special day to celebrate to celebrate all mothers out there.
On various social media platforms, many have been uploading pictures with their mothers accompanied by heartfelt captions in tribute to their loving mother.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was among them, uploading a wish to his mother, Tun Rahah Mohd Noah, as well as well as to all mothers in general.
He even shared a picture of him kissing the hand of Tun Rahah on his Twitter post.
He also uploaded a wish for mothers of the 276 Nigerian girls kidnapped by the Boko Haram group recently.
Various other politicians, and local celebrities also took the opportunity to wish a happy mother's day via the social media.
Mother's Day is a celebration which honours mothers and motherhood.
In Malaysia Mother's Day is celebrated on Sunday during the second week of May every year.
