Port Klang air quality improves

The air quality in Port Klang, Tanjung Malim and Banting has improved but still remained at an unhealthy level as at 4pm on Saturday, according to the Department of Environment Malaysia (DOE) website.
Port Klang recorded an Air Pollutant Index (API) reading of 126, Tanjung Malim (128) and Banting (105).
Meanwhile, moderate API readings were registered in 25 areas, including Petaling Jaya (84), Nilai (90), Muar (95) and Putrajaya (100) while 22 areas recorded good API readings, including Kuala Terengganu (18), Jerantut (23), Sarikei (32), and Kota Baharu (35).
API readings of between 0-50 is considered good, moderate (51-100), unhealthy (101-200), very unhealthy (201-300) and dangerous (exceeding 301).
