KANGAR: The temporary flood relief (PPS) centre in Kuala Perlis, Perlis was closed last night after flood waters receded in the affected areas.
Perlis General Operations Force (GOF) director Lt Col (PA) Mohd Izaimi Mohd Daud said the PPS at the Kampung Teluk Surau in Kuala Perlis which had sheltered nine men, six women and a child due to flash floods in their area, was closed at 8 pm last night.
"All the flood victims at the PPS in Kampung Teluk which was in operation since Sunday (Oct 16) were allowed to return home," he said when contacted.
