PR1MA well received by Johor folks

The 1Malaysia People Housing Project (PR1MA) announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak recently has been well received by the people of Johor.

They described it as an accurate and necessary step as the rising cost of properties have made it difficult for low and middle income earners to own homes.

They feel that this project will help them solve half of the people’s problems in buying their own house.

The prices of terrace houses in Johor Baharu have now reached between RM180,000 and RM200,000 per unit, while two-storey terraces have reached up to RM500,000.

On February 12, Najib has announced the development of 25,000 units of affordable houses under PR1MA at Iskandar Malaysia within a period of three years.
