Prasarana has stopped work for LRT Project

Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad (Prasarana) has stopped work for the LRT Line Extension Project at KM15 off Jalan Lapangan Terbang, Subang, here, following the death of a motorist there, yesterday.

Prasarana Group Director for Project Development Zulkifli Mohd Yusoff said the company regretted that a motorist died and another was injured when a construction equipment at the section accidently fell onto their vehicle at about 7.30pm.

"The injured motorist was sent to hospital. We regret the incident and wish to express our sincere condolence to family members of the motorist who passed away," he said in a statement.

The project aimed to further improve the urban public transportation in Klang Valley.
