Pregnant woman among 86 drug addicts nabbed in operation

A three-month pregnant woman was among 86 drug addicts detained in an anti-drug operation at the Felda area of the Jempol district.
Negeri Sembilan National Anti-Drugs Agency director Ismail Ahmad Khairi said the woman who was pregnant with her third child was nabbed at her home, along with her husband.
He said the 86 addicts aged between 21 and 66 were rounded up in a joint operation, dubbed 'Ops Sarang Khas' involving the state police and Bukit Aman's Special Tactics and Intelligence Narcotics Group.
The operation began at 10 last night and ended at 2pm Monday, he told a press conference at the Jempul police headquarters here.
Also present was state narcotics investigation department chief, Supt Ayub Salim.
Meanwhile, Ayub said the police also detained a 40-year-old man during the operation and seized six packets of drug believed to be heroin and weighing 13.11g, and a packet of syabu weighing 1.32g.
