The preliminary DNA report of the remains found in Pulau Tioman on Wednesday is expected to be known on Saturday, said the police.
The DNA testing is still being carried out and no results could be issued so far by the authorities.

The DNA test samples taken from the remains will be matched against the DNA samples taken from Gareth David Huntley's mother, Janet Southwell before any confirmation could be made.
Gareth, a British national had been reported missing after visiting the Lubuk Teja Waterfalls near Pulau Tioman May 27.
Southwell arrived in Kuantan at 11am from Tioman Island by helicopter with her son’s girlfriend, Kit Natariga as well as a representative from the British High Commission, Karen Song.
