Prices announced and bookings are open for the Ford Mustang

Get your cheque books out if you’re aching to own a piece of motoring heritage! Ford just announced they are now picking up names for the Mustang!

As we’ve mentioned, the Ford Mustang will be launch on our shores come December this year. Ford has already teased us with previews of the car now they have officially opened their order books. So if you’ve always want to own this motoring heritage be sure to head over to the nearest showroom and put your name down now.

A few details about the Mustang: the Ford Mustang will come completely built up from Flat Rock Assembly Plant in the United States and features more precise steering control and enhanced ride comfort. The car will also come with an array of innovative technologies from Intelligent Access with push button start to Ford’s SYNC2 connectivity system and MyKey.

The Mustang will be available with two engines:

2.3-litre EcoBoost engine; produces 310bhp; designed to give drivers performance and fuel efficiency
5.0-litre V8 with an upgraded valve train and cylinder heads that produces 435bhp mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Ford is offering the Mustang in five colours: Oxford White, Shadow Black, Deep Impact Blue, Magnetic Grey and Race Red. The 5.0-litre V8 variant will also be available in a special Triple Yellow Tri-Coat colour.

Prices starts at RM435,000-RM450,000 for the 2.3-litre EcoBoost fastback and tops off at RM550,000-RM565,000 for the 5.0-litre V8 fastback.
