Purple Rain was the rock anthem of my growing up years (well, besides all the tracks by The Style Council). For those too young to have enjoyed Prince or Prince Rogers Nelson (1958-2016), he was a musical genius; a dimunitive guy who was decades ahead of the genderless trend that’s sweeping the fashion zeitgeist currently.

For causes yet to be confirmed, Prince passed away April 21 2016, concluding a royal era of eclectic music, flamboyant style and free-spiritedness unique to a creative giant. RIP, our Royal Highness of Musc.
