As hard as it is to get by short of Heidi, Nina, and the endearing Tim, Project Runway: All Stars always helps to fill the perfectly intended hole in our hearts during breaks between Project Runway seasons. And if you’ve enjoyed the past few years of the leading show, you’re in luck: The cast of All Stars season 4 of is heavy on designers from Runway‘s past few seasons and even throwing in some winners as well (shocker!).
The most prominent designers include Chris March of season 4, recently picked by EW as the best season in Runway history and Jay Sario of season 7. As the returning designers know, nothing is as it seems on Project Runway All Stars. Before revealing the first challenge, host Alyssa Milano reveals that two former Project Runway winners, Dmitry Sholokhov and Michelle Lesniak, are back, making the rivalry and competition tougher than ever! Hoping for at least one win is Kate Pankoke, who is getting her third opportunity to prove herself on the runway; she formerly appeared in season 11, and then was brought back for season 12 by a fan vote.

Here are the rest of the competitors, clustered by season: From Season 10 we will get to see: Fabio Costa, Gunnar Deatherage, and Sonjia Williams. Season 11 representatives include, Samantha Black, Benjamin Mach, and Patricia Michaels. From Season 12 expect Helen Castillo, Justin LeBlanc, and Alexandria von Bromssen to try and sew their way to first place.
This season’s highlights include a surprise visit to London for a challenge featuring British royalty, collaboration with Broadway’s Wicked: The Musical and the first-ever wedding ceremony live on the runway!
14 designers will return for redemption when All Stars premieres Oct. 30 on Lifetime in USA, alongside host Alyssa Milano, judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman, and mentor Zanna Roberts Rassi. Guest judges this season include Orange Is the New Black‘s Laverne Cox, singer Nicole Scherzinger, and, er… Snooki, JWoww, celebrity photographer Nigel Barker, QVC® program host Lisa Robertson and many others. Designers appearing this season include Betsey Johnson, Michael Bastian, Elie Tahari and Ivanka Trump, and special appearances by Project Runway judges Nina Garcia and Zac Posen.
The winner of Project Runway All Stars will be given the ultimate in prize packaging, which includes the chance to create their own capsule collection with QVC and appear during QVC’s Spring Fashion Week programming; a fashion spread in Marie Claire and a position at the magazine as Contributing Editor for one year; CHI Haircare will send the winner to stay in a luxury spa resort as a special guest at their International conference in Cancun, Mexico, plus product and staff for entire year of runway shows; from Mary Kay, an entire year’s worth of beauty products for their fashion shows and professional makeup artist services for their debut show; a cash prize of $150,000 and a complete custom sewing studio to launch the winning line from Brother Sewing and Embroidery.
