Promote noble values in creative works - Zahidi

He said the effort could be started by increasing the elements of religion and exemplary moral values in television programmes and children's books.

“...we want to make stories about the prophet as well as about respecting parents and leaders.

"(Without noble values) our society will collapse (and) how will young people go forward. So, this effort needs to be done," he said when launching the 2021 Creative Industry Conference at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur here yesterday.

Also present was National Book Development Foundation chairman Tan Sri Ahmad Zaki Ansore.

The three-day conference brings together industry players and experts as well as non-governmental organisation (NGO) representatives who will present 25 papers in an effort to improve the quality of the industry.

At the event, Zahidi also launched the Radio Buku FM (www.radiobuku.fm), a 24-hour online radio channel that highlights reading culture and scientific content.
