Puchong explosion: Police probe possible motives of revenge, business-related

Following an explosion in Puchong early this morning, police said they will probe into various aspects of the incident, including its motive.
Selangor deputy police chief Datuk Abdul Rahim Jaafar said, police investigations would also be directed towards the possibility that some of the victims were being targeted by criminals.
"(Police) are looking from the angle where the motive of incident is perhaps business (related) or revenge, or probably, one or some of the victims, are the target of criminals," he said.
He said, in the incident which took place near an entertainment outlet, involving patrons who were watching the Euro 2016 football match, one person was seriously injured.
Abdul Rahim was met by reporters when visiting the crime scene this morning.
