AirAsia Group Chief Executive Officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes tweeted his condolences, following reports that debris and a body from the missing AirAsia Flight QZ8501 have been found in the search and rescue operations.
He said words cannot express how sorry he is with the incident.
In a separate tweet, Fernandes said he is heading to Surabaya following the news.
Earlier, Indonesia's National Search and Rescue Agency chief Bambang Soelistyo said they spotted a body.
"At 13:25... we spotted a floating object believed to be one of the passengers' bodies,"Soelistyo had said at a press conference.
