The feeble ‘iman’ of the male population has become the bone of contention to the whole gymnast Farah Ann controversy, according to former Wanita Umno chief, Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz.
She said that women never complained about the attires worn by men, even if it is not a sight for sore eye.
“You think the men look good in their swimming trunks? Do we even complain in your skinny swimming trunks?
“We don’t care as long as you strike gold for the country,” she said during a seminar held in Kuala Lumpur, Monday.

She also said most men forgot that Farah was thriving to make the country proud and instead of appreciating that, many men decided to gawk at her “attire, the wrong parts of the attire”
Rafidah said, “some men decided to focus on her attire, the wrong parts of the attire. These men should have their eye balls gouged out because that’s the kind of attitude that’s being spread now.
She also added that some men are just eager to deprive women of their opportunities by trashing the attires the women don.
“It is the weakness of the male iman (faith) that is causing the problem,” she insisted.

National gymnast, Farah Ann Abdul Hadi was recently criticised for attire which was deemed inappropriate at the 2015 SEA Games by certain quarters.
Some had described her sports clothing was a tad too revealing and that she was not covering up her modesty (aurat).
