Rafizi: What disciplinary action is PAS taking on Mohd Zuhdi?

Here is PKR’s call to PAS: to impose disciplinary action against its central committee member, Dr Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki who discussed about leaving the Pakatan Rakyat coalition via a leaked WhatsApp message.

PKR strategic director Rafizi Ramli said the message by Mohd Zuhdi is PAS’ leadership’s betrayal to the principles of Pakatan Rakyat.

Rafizi has also asked PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang if the party will take action on Mohd Zuhdi.

“What disciplinary action is PAS taking on Mohd Zuhdi for proposing that the party goes against the agreement it has sealed with Pakatan Rakyat and against those who voted for PAS and Pakatan Rakyat?”.

“We want to know how many from the PAS central leadership hold such racist and anti-democratic views like Mohd Zuhdi,” Rafizi said in a statement.

Rafizi deems his (Mohd Zuhdi) statement a violation of various policies, resolutions and agreements made by PAS.

Rafizi added that while differences of opinions are allowed in any organisations, the opinion by Mohd Zuhdi is normally expressed by PERKASA and ISMA.

In the leaked conversation, PAS central committee member Mohd Zuhdi has raised the possibility of the party ‘joining forces’ with Umno while retaining Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim as Selangor Menteri Besar.

Mohd Zuhdi said he does not condone suggestion to leave Pakatan Rakyat.
