Heavy rain caused a section of the ceiling at the Taiping Health Clinic, about 60km from here, to collapse today, said Perak Health director Datuk Dr Juita Ghazalie.
No one was injured in the incident that occurred on the first floor of the building that houses the maternal and child clinic, she said.
"The Public Works Department is conducting an inspection of the building, including the wiring," she told Bernama when contacted.
Dr Juita said mothers and children were sent to other nearby clinics for treatment. -- BERNAMA
