Raja, Raja Perempuan of Perlis fete old folks, orphans, media practitioners at iftar

ARAU: Raja of Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail and Raja Perempuan of Perlis Tuanku Tengku Fauziah Tengku Abdul Rashid feted and presented Ramadan aid to olk folks and orphans at an Iftar event at Istana Arau last night.

They were mostly occupants of old folks homes and orphanages in the state.

Also feted were eight media practitioners in Perlis.

Raja Muda of Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, Raja Puan Muda Tuanku Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil and their children Sharifah Khatreena Nuraniah, Sharifah Farah Adriana and Syed Sirajuddin Areeb Putra were in attendance.

Also present were Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azlan Man and state executive councils.

Earlier, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin also presented donations totalling RM11.6 million from the Perlis Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPs) to 34 Islamic schools, maahad tahfiz and tertiary institutions in Perlis.
