The Rakyat Post temporarily shuts down

The Rakyat Post has been temporarily shut down following funding issues faced by the online news portal.

The portal in a statement Monday thanked their readers for their continuous support.

According to digital measurement and analytics company comScore, the portal was once the third most viewed website in Malaysia on mobile and 13th most viewed on desktop.

The portal will be undergoing restructuring and looking at solving their funding issues.
