Recent shootings not out of random, says IGP

The recent spate of shootings in the country were not random shootings but every incident had a reason.
"I was told there was a reason for every shooting case. It is not out of random. There is a reason behind it (shooting). I can confirm that," he told reporters after attending an Aidilfitri open house hosted by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi at Sri Satria, here today when asked to comment the fatal shooting of Miri PKR secretary Bill Kayong at a traffic light junction in Tudan on June 21.
Another case was the fatal shooting of a property agent in Taman OUG, Old Klang Road, here.
Khalid said police had formed a task force to expedite investigations into the recent shooting cases.
