Red Bull Racing launches brand new livery… and partnership

But now that Infiniti has moved on to get cosy with Renault’s recently acquired Lotus team, Red Bull Racing has free reign over their team’s colour scheme once again. The most noticeable change was the addition of the Red Bull captions across the side of the car and the addition of a red line joining the front to the back with no traces of Infiniti and Renault logos left on the car. The big news though is not just the new car livery but a new partnership as well. Looks like Infiniti is not the only company who is moving on to greener grass, Puma has in turned abandoned a famous scarlet team to start a new line of F1 gear and a new theme that will see them go #FasterTogether.

So that means that both Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat’s new suits will both be decorated with Puma’s new design: The Stampede – a graphic illustration of charging bulls that features across the team’s race suit and team wear. The same illustration will also be available to fans as it will be replicated on the lifestyle collection. Red Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner said: “Seeing our new livery for this year alongside our new team wear from PUMA was a proud moment for us. PUMA have done a very impressive job with the design of the team kit, replica and lifestyle product lines. There has been a lot of work behind the scenes to get ready for this, and it has all paid off with today’s event which I think has only built our excitement for the season ahead.”

Strangely no technical details about the cars have been released yet. We’re only a week away from the season’s first testing session in Barcelona and we’re all curious what engines will be Bulls be running. Would it be Renaults like the previous years? Or have Red Bull moved on to new units from a different manufacturer after last year’s controversial events? We’re going to have to wait to find out.
