Religious teacher found dead in homestay bathroom in Tanjong Karang

A religious teacher was found dead in a bathroom of a homestay in Taman Desa Mawar, Tanjong Karang here on Saturday.

Kuala Selangor police chief Supt Roslan Abdullah, said the body of Sobri Yusof, 26, was found at 9 pm by a neighbour who went to check why the front door of the house had remained ajar for almost the whole day.

Roslan said the victim was staying alone in the bungalow which he had rented since last Friday. "The victim was a religious teacher at Sekolah Menengah Agama Tanjong Karang here.

"Right now, the case is classified as sudden death as no foul play was found during the initial investigation," he said in a statement today.

The body was taken to Tanjong Karang Hospital for post mortem.
