A six-day-old baby was found dead in a water well behind a house in Kampung Lok Lok, Batang Melaka, Jasin, last night.
Following the discovery of the baby's remains, police arrested six suspects including the baby's mother and father as well as four other family members living in the same residence to assist in investigation.
Jasin District Police Chief, Deputy Superintendent Arshad Abu said the baby was wearing a white diaper when found by a neighbour.
