Two individuals including a special officer to a minister who were remanded by the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission to assist in investigations into allegations of bribery concerning a tender award were released on Tuesday.

The men aged 44 and 48 were released at 11 am upon the expiry of their extended remand.

The special officer, and the businessman with a 'Datuk' title were remanded for four days on Thursday together with a woman aged 33, a secretary, who was remanded for three days.

The case is investigated under Section 16(a)(B) and Section 17(a) Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009.

The woman was released on Saturday.
