It hasn’t been that long ago when Tan Chong Euro Cars introduced the Fluence to our shores, now they’re presenting us with the facelift version. By Jerrica Leong
It hasn’t even been a year when we first got our hands on the Fluence but we’re already presented with a facelift model. The new Fluence now carries more resemblance to its other Renault siblings than the out-going model and while the out-going model looks better in the metal than on pictures, the facelift grabs the attention even on the brochures.

The Fluence now comes to you in two variants, the entry level Expression priced at RM108,888 and the higher-specced Dynamique priced at RM119,888. What’s different from the older version, here’s the list:
- While both variants come with new grilles, LED daytime running lights and chrome/ gloss black inserts are only available in the Dynamique variant.
- New Bluetooth radios equipped with USB and jack sockets to decorate the interior of both variants.
- Both variants come with Renault R-Link Multimedia system incorporates the navigation system, telephony function and can be connected to portable music players.
- A reverse camera comes as standard in both variants as well as cruise control with speed limiter.
- The Dynamique variant also comes complete with full leather seats and 17-inch Akihiro two-tone alloy wheels.
