Repair work on concrete barrier completed
A concrete barrier which gave way when it was ploughed through by the ill-fated bus that killed 37 people, including the driver, and injured 16 passengers at km3.5 Jalan Genting Highlands on Wednesday, had been repaired.
Although the repair work was completed this morning while the debris cleaned up, the lane is still closed to traffic.
An emergency lane signboard was erected next to an emergency lane which happened to be next to the crash site.
A group of tourists were seen taking pictures of the crash site from the Chin See Temple nearby. An Indian tourist, who identified himself as Ravi, said he was told about the tragedy by his bus driver.
Meanwhile, it is learned that the lane at the crash site might be reopened on Monday.
