#RespectMyPM: Netizens' campaign in supporting Najib Razak
The campaign launched by netizen as a campaign to voice out their support towards Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
“I am Malaysian. And I #RespectMyPM.”
Those are the words that went viral recently on social media -- a campaign launched by netizens to voice out their support towards Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
The hashtag which has been flooding Facebook and Twitter, is seen as an effort to prove that the support towards Najib is still strong, despite various allegations from certain parties including the recent Citizens' Declaration signed by more than 50 politicians, urging him to step down.
Many agreed that although criticism is sometimes crucial, but it needs to be channeled properly.
Criticism is fine But don't damage own country. We are all Malaysians. It's our country!#RespectMyPM @NajibRazak pic.twitter.com/yitsTNfcA5

However, there are still those who question the effectiveness of the campaign through the usage of this hashtag.
I think people don't get the backstory of the #RespectMyPM hashtag. /p>— M.B (@melludee) March 7, 2016
Kejayaan sesuatu kempen PR harus boleh diukur e.g increased sales, good perception index etc. How do you measure success of #RespectMyPM ?
