A restaurant waiter was burnt to death in his car after the vehicle and another caught fire when he rammed into four vehicles parked by the roadside while driving home to USJ 8 in Subang Jaya early today, police said.
Muhamad Nadir Ismail, 23, was trapped in his car in the accident which happened at about 3am while he was driving to his house at Goodyear Court 6, said Subang Jaya Police chief ACP Yahaya Ramli.
The body was sent to the Serdang Hospital, he said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Mohamad Sani Harul said 10 fire and rescue personnel from the Subang Jaya Fire Station were sent to the scene to put out the fire.
