Result on appeals to IPTA available today

The result of appeals for entries to public institutions of higher learning (IPTA) for degree programmes can be checked from 12 noon today.

Higher Education Department director-general Datuk Prof Morshidi Sirat said candidates could check their results at http://upu.mohe.gov.my, http://www.jpt.utm.my, http://jpt.uum.edu.my, https://jpt.unimas.my and http://jpt.ums.edu.my.

He said they could also check the status of their appeals by contacting Hotline 03-88706767, Helpline 03-88706777, general line 03-88706755/6766 orby typing UPU RESULT (Identity card number) and send to 15888.

"Candidates can also check the status and print the official offer letter through the respective IPTA official websites starting tomorrow," he said in a statement yesterday.

He said the decision on the appeals was final and if no offer was received from the IPTA by Sept 30, the appeal must be considered as having failed.
