Retired army men club receives RM50,000

The Ministry of Defence presented RM50,000 to the Retired Armed Forces Officers Club (Rafoc) today, towards the welfare of its members, said Defence Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The funds were in appreciation of the contribution and service by the veterans who had helped to elevate the armed forces' status, he said.

He was speaking at the Club's dinner at Dewan Perdana Felda, here today.

Also present at the event were Rafoc president Tan Seri Mohd Ghazali Mohd Seth and Armed Forces Commander, Gen Tan Sri Zulkifeli Mohd Zin.
