Richworks confirms Azizan Osman's 'PhD' from Gordon University

Richworks Group of Companies in a statement today clarified the issue on Azizan Osman's controversial PhD (Hon) in Entrepreneurship, allegedly obtained from the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur.

The statement, uploaded on Azizan's official Facebook page said Richworks has lodged a police report over the issue that has caused an uproar on social media. The matter is now under investigation.

According to Richworks, there is a possibility that his aides had fallen victim to deception, formed by some irresponsible quarters to create confusion and inconvenience.

Azizan was conferred with a Doctor of Science (Metaphysics) from Gordon University, Bradenton, Florida, United States of America in 2009.

He is also expected to graduate and fulfil all requirements needed to be awarded with Doctorate (Psychology) from Hertfordshire University, United Kingdom.

The convocation ceremony is slated to be held soon.

Richworks also expressed regret on the fuss that arose with regard to the status of his qualifications and hoped that the clarifications will clear the air.
