RM3,000 and RM1,000 incentives for outstanding students in Melaka

The Melaka state government through the Melaka Education Trust Fund (TAPEM) will provide RM3,000 and RM1,000 incentives for outstanding Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Form Three Assessment (PT3) students this year.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron said the incentives would be given to students who scored A in all subjects in the examinations.
"This is to encourage students to work hard from the beginning and not leave their revision to the last minute," he told a press conference, here, Sunday.
Earlier, he handed out school necessities to 31 primary and secondary school students in Klebang Kecil.
Also present were State Transport, Project Rehabilitation and International Trade Committee chairman, Datuk Lim Ban Hong and TAPEM general manager, Mustafa Musa.
Meanwhile, Idris called on the people to extend their cooperation, support and continuous commitment in efforts to develop the state as this was a shared responsibility. - Bernama
