The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) has allocated RM500,000 to upgrade infrastructure and help mitigate flash floods.
Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali said this was to overcome flash floods which have become common, especially in Section 13.
"MBSA has agreed use its allocation to upgrade the water retention ponds near the entrance of the Management Science University (MSU) and at the rear of Masjid Naza TTDI.
"I believe that these efforts will reduce flash floods in Section 13," he told reporters after touring areas hit by flash floods recently.
