RM500 special assistance for Sabah civil servants
The payment will be made together with their salary for this month.
The Sabah state government today announced a RM500 special financial aid to 17,574 civil servants in the state.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman said in a statement here that payment of the special assistance would be made together with the salary for this month.
"The special assistance involves a financial implication of RM8.786 million," he said.
Musa, who is also Sabah Finance Minister, said the decision to give the special financial aid was made in appreciation of the state civil servants' contribution and dedication in implementing state development programmes.
"The special aid is also given to help ease the burden of the state civil servants in preparing for the upcoming Aidilfitri celebration," he said.
