Ceramahs are lively events, almost like a carnival or a fun fair. You get to wander around all kinds of stalls selling all kinds of things, from traditional medicine (yes, just like in P.Ramlee’s movies!) to food.

Some of these stall owners make it a point to actually travel around the country on the ceramah trail. So make sure you pay a visit to at least one ceramah this campaign period. If it isn’t for the speakers, then definitely for the t-shirts and soto!
