Robber shoots at cigarette rack in 24-hour convenience store

A man fired a shot at a cigarette rack as he and two accomplices robbed a 24-hour convenience store in Jalan Dang Wangi here early Friday.
The gunman fired at the cigarette rack after a store worker shouted at the trio for snatching cigarettes, beer and snack items in the 3.19am hold-up.
Dang Wangi police chief ACP Zainol Samah said the robbers fled with the loot, adding that a closed-circuit television camera recording showed that seven other accomplices were waiting outside the store.
