Robbers stab to death salon owner

A beauty salon operator was found dead at her salon,yesteday morning, after being robbed by a man and a woman who masqueraded as customers.

Nusajaya district police deputy chief, DSP Razak Md Said, said in the incident which occurred at about 11.30am the victim, aged 39, was found by her employees with stab wounds on her stomach and slash marks on her wrist and neck.

"The suspects burst in on the victim while she was in the shop with two of her employees and two customers.

"It was understood that an argument broke out between the suspects and the victim which was overheard by the victim's employees," he said when contacted, here, today.

He said the employees suspected something was amiss when there was sudden silence.

They went to investigate and found the victim lying in a pool of blood in the front portion of the shop, he added.

He said the victim's two mobile phones, a laptop and some cash were missing.

Police were looking for the two suspects, believed to be in their 20s, to help in investigations and urged those with any information to contact the nearest police station.
