Rosmah officiates Indian multimedia exhibition
The Prime Minister's Wife in her address confessed that like many Malaysians she too was an avid fan of Bollywood songs and dances - Bernamapic
Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, an avid fan of Bollywood songs and dances, officiated the Multimedia Exhibition titled "Life on the Silver Screen: The Fascinating Story of Indian Cinema" at the Art Gallery in University Malaya, Saturday in conjunction with the ongoing Festival of India.
Also present was Indian High Commissioner T.S Tirumurti and University Malaya Vice Chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Mohd Amin Jalaludin.
The Prime Minister's Wife in her address confessed that like many Malaysians she too was an avid fan of Bollywood songs and dances.
"More interestingly, Malaysians are fascinated by the Bollywood movies even when they do not understand the language. They can stay glued in front of the screen for up to three hours or more," she said in front of a much elated audience.
Rosmah also noted that Indian film-makers had increasingly found Malaysia an attractive destination for filming their movies and played an important part in attracting Indian nationals to Malaysia.
