Row over papaya tree leads to death

A row between two neighbours at Taman Teja Tanjung Tualang, Batu Gajah led to the death of one of them when he suffered a heart attack.
Contract worker Choo Mun Keong, 42 died after a heated argument with his neighbour for chopping down the tree, planted at the back of his house.
Choo was said to have fell on the tarred road during the quarrel which took place at 11am yesterday.
Police said a man aged 50 has been detained to assist in investigation.
"The quarrel between them was because of the papaya tree. Investigation revealed that the victim was unhappy with the suspect for planting the tree and using feaces as fertiliser," police said in a statement.
Police said the row escalated when the suspect attacked the victim for chopping down the papaya tree.
The victim was found lying on the road. The suspect and victim did not use any weapon in their quarrel, police added.
The case has been classified as murder.
