It took several Rescue and Fire Department personnel from three fire station to control the fire at Kampung Sri Makmur in Taman Sri Gombak here today. 

No casualties were reported in the fire that destroyed six 'rumah kongsi' in the area. 

The Fire and Rescue Department had dispatched its personnel to the scene after they received a distress call at approximately 6.40pm. 

It took them 45 minutes to control the fire.
