Rusiah was confirmed as the first Malaysian pilgrim killed in the Makkah tragedy.
The family of the late Rusiah Suar, 56, who died in the Makkah crane collapse tragedy, thanked Tabung Haji (TH) for arranging her funeral in the Holy Land.
"Although saddened by her passing, I accept her death and am grateful that my mother's funeral has been completed," Rusiah's daughter, Haryanti Ahmad Badri, 31, told reporters when met at her home at Felda Gunung Besout 2, here yesterday.
Earlier, the family was visited by Tabung Haji CEO Tan Sri Ismee Ismail, who handed over a contribution from TH and Takaful insurance money amounting to RM20,000.
The remains of Rusiah were laid to rest at the Syara'ek cemetery in Makkah after Subuh prayers, Monday.
Haryanti said tahlil prayers would be held for three consecutive days.
"I pray that her soul will be placed among the pious," she said while holding back tears.
Rusiah, who was earlier reported missing after the incident on Friday, was confirmed as the first Malaysian pilgrim killed in the tragedy.
Four others confirmed dead are Siti Nurolshlizan Zolkifli, 37, from Tanah Merah, Kelantan; Munah Jusoh, 73, (Cherang Ruku, Kelantan); Rohana Ismail, 54, (Kuala Krai, Kelantan) and Zainun Taha, 69, (Ampang, Selangor).
