IPOH:The new Menteri Besar of Perak Datuk Saarani Mohamad today announced the portfolios for all the 10 members of the state executive council (exco) appointed recently.

He said he was confident that each exco member is capable of giving a high level of commitment in discharging their duties to serve the people.

"This is a new team. So, there's no issue of changes or reshuffle," he said at a press conference to announce the new line-up here today.

Saarani also announced the appointment of Datuk Abd Manap Hashim as Special Adviser to the Menteri Besar and Alor Pongsu assemblyman Datuk Sham Mat Sahat as the Menteri Besar's Political Secretary.

On the portfolio, the Menteri Besar said apart from leading the state government, he will also be in charge of the State Committee on Islamic Religious, Finance, Security, Land, Natural Resources, Economic Planning and Government-Linked Companies.

  6. Plantation, Agriculture and Food Industries - Razman Zakaria

  7. Health, Science, Environment and Green Technology - Mohd Akmal Kamaruddin

  8. Rural Development, Entrepreneurs Development and Cooperatives - Zainol Fadzi Paharudin

  9. Housing, Local Government and Tourism - Datuk Nolee Ashilin Mohamed Radzi
